I’m so pleased to hear this morning that WA have no more new cases of COVID19 reported for the first time since the outbreak in February but I feel sad about all the other countries that is not relatively well organised and doesn’t have the same health and social structure that we have here.
My own country Brazil will inevitably have this epidemic spreading to the most disadvantaged social strata. This is what’s been happening in New York today, where blacks are represented in a much greater proportion in the deaths that happen in the city. We do not yet know what will happen when those millions Brazilians who live in poverty, precarious housing conditions and health will also become infected. We do not know what will happen.
I really hope we can get through this together and after all we take this as wake up call to all Nations to not rely on unilateral benefits contracts with other countries and care about our sovereignty.
